Scientific research proofed that dried lavender is a natural bug and moth repellent. This wand is ideal to store away your scarves, cashmere, woolens and cottons in your closets, drawers and boxes. Store a lavender wand to give clothes an extra clean smell and keep moths away.
They will last a surprising amount of time: just give them a squeeze now and then to release the perfume for an extra boost of scent.
We perpetuate this tradition that has almost disappeared with great joy and as a tribute to our region. This special edition is made from organic lavender that grows in our own alpine gardens in the Principality of Liechtenstein delivering small but very intense lavender flowers. We use leftover eyelet bands from regional companies in Eastern Switzerland and Western Austria which would otherwise be discarded. This special edition is also a tribute to the long history of stitching in our region dating back to the late 18th century, when the first automatic hand-stitching machines were introduced. Only a handful of small family-owned businesses have survived to maintaintheir local production.
Please be aware that all wands are handmade from white cotton eyelet-bands that sometimes have tiny spots from the lavender stems while being woven by our hands! Enjoy this wholly organic and truly natural product.
