Variegated Grey & Camel with a Stripe Swiss Angora
The scarf is characterised by a two-tone plain weave that combines grey and brown yarns originating from the different rabbits´ wool. This uneven check pattern is often associated with the cloth worn by shepherds in the alps. A fine line is woven into the middle highlighting the weave.
Angora is a luxury fibre produced by long-haired Angora rabbits characterised by a particularly cosy and warm wool. Harvesting angora without harming rabbits is a slow labour of patience and compassion.
For our Angora collection, we source only from Swiss breeders who caringly brush their beloved rabbits when moulting. Once twisted, it takes about seven hours to spin 100g of raw fibre by hands into the most delicate yarn. The colour palette reflects the natural shades of the animals and creates an irreproducible touch to every single scarf.
Style it with head-to-toe black or brown to foreground the all natural colour palette.
